We do some podcasting.
Downcast is a collaborative audio program. Each week we feature a selection of tracks from various artists, often grouped around an overlying theme. Downcast has two different episode types. The regular episodes focus on a theme or musical idea, while the "B-Sides" focus on specific artists.
Winchester Sessions is a long-form improv podcast, that updates weekly. Well, most of the time
Be a curator.
If you have an idea for an episode of Downcast, you could "curate" an episode. All you have to do is:
- Choose around 20-30 minutes of music. Base your selections on a theme... or don't! Whatever you want. There are no limitations.
- Choose the set order; put all the tracks in the right sequence
- Zip up the mp3 files, along with a set list including the track name, artist, and album
- Send it all to downcast@sidedown.com! If your file is too big for your e-mail, let us know, and we'll help you out.
- Let us do the rest! Sit back and enjoy the show.
Submit your own music
Do you have some songs that you've written and would like to share with the world? We love featuring new or independent artists on Downcast, so send some tracks our way! E-mail some mp3s to downcast@sidedown.com and we'll let you know when they'll be featured on the program.
We enjoy listening.
